About

Atomic Alchemy is building scalable U.S. radioisotope production capabilities in U.S.-based facilities dedicated to producing essential isotopes for healthcare, industry, research, and defense.

Our vertically integrated model and innovative technologies aim to address global shortages, establishing a reliable domestic supply chain for isotopes crucial to life-saving treatments, advanced industrial applications, and national security.

What Are
Radioisotopes?

Radioisotopes are unstable atoms that emit radiation and are widely used in medical imaging, cancer treatments, and industrial processes. A reliable supply of these isotopes is essential to advancing healthcare and technology.

The Problem

Global isotope supplies are limited and depend on outdated reactors and facilities. Atomic Alchemy’s integrated approach addresses these challenges by managing all stages of isotope production:

Building The Reactor

We design and build specialized reactors, like VIPR®, to ensure efficient, reliable isotope production.

Sourcing Fuel Material

Through partnerships, including with Oklo, we recycle used nuclear fuel to extract valuable isotopes. Some materials, such as Strontium-90, are used directly in applications like space power systems, eliminating the need for further processing.

Commercial Production

Our advanced reactor technology efficiently meets the growing demand for isotopes across sectors.

Addressing Global Supply Challenges
Through Vertical Integration

By managing each step of production, we reduce reliance on aging international suppliers, creating a steady, scalable, and resilient U.S.-based isotope supply chain.

Our Mission

To provide a reliable, U.S.-based supply of high-quality isotopes essential for healthcare, industry, research, and defense, strengthening national isotope availability.
